In principle the establishment should have no role in the internal politics. But the million dollar question is that what do you do when there is widespread corruption amongst the politicians.Ever since the inception of Pakistan these leaders have not only wanted to glue themselves to the KURSI but also pilfer the country with both hands and transfer the loot into foreign lands. The looting is not restricted to the politicians but extends to the bureaucracy too. Besides these people have at times not even hesitated to sell their motherland’s assets and secrets. The above law Pakistani politician has lost its trust not only at home but in the international arena too!! Is it then surprising that in the absence of law enforcement agencies this responsibility to keep these thugs on the straight and narrow falls on the shoulders of the ISI!!! Pakistan’s infra structure is far from satisfactory. Yes the establishment should not be interfering in internal politics but what choice do they have? In 1971 East Pakistan was lost solely because of the mess up by the politicians. We must not forget that Z.A.Bhutto was the architect of the dismemberment of Pakistan. Every so many years these politicians make a GRAND MESS UP and then they blame the establishment!!! THE POLITICIAN OF PAKISTAN HAVE TO STOP FILLING ITS POCKETS AND BE SERIOUS ABOUT THE COUNTRY AND NATION. They probably don’t care if Pakistan turns into Somalia because with their assets and families safely out of the way in Dubai or other Western country they are in a win win situation any way. NOW IT IS UP TO THE ORDINARY MORTALS OF THE CIVIL SOCIETY TO TAKE UP THIS MATTER AND FORCE THESE GOOD FOR NOTHING LAZY LOUTS TO IMPROVE THEIR ACT.
