The anti climax and the moral of Raymond Davis tale is that our political leaders have a slavish colonial mentality and they have no concept of standing up for the law and principles. The bottom line is that they have extremely dependent selfish and corruptible nature. This is the reason why US has been getting away with literal murder. What have the politicians achieved other than personal wealth. What kind of leaders are these people who bargained the integrity and sovereignty of their nation and country for pieces of silver?? One cannot help but ask this question as to “What has Pakistan gained by being a lackey to the US?”… Have we not been dragged into the dark ages as per the US threat of 9/11/01 in spite of the unconditional surrender to their demands? Unless the nation wakes up to certain realities regarding their leaders their fate will lead them to the inevitable disaster. It is up to the people to choose the right path and elect the right leader. Pakistanis need courage and conviction and belief in themselves to steer them out of this foreign funded and sponsored crisis. We can be a poor country but if we have strict laws and law enforcement this will turn this country around in no time at all. Enemies of Pakistan will always paint a picture of doom but in reality Pakistan has everything to look up to in order to survive and thrive. We just have to learn to say “NO” to the aid and assistance from the ones who have ulterior motives!! You know which countries are on this list!!!!

Our political masters live in a different world, they have no contact or connection with the people of Pakistan. We have seen it time and again, that whatever the tragedy our masters are immune from it. They are not concerned, they do not turn up at the funerals of the unfortunate victims, they are nowhere to be seen. Mr Zardari can find time to go to the US, at great expense to the nation, to pay homage to Mr Holbrooke. But he did not have the decency and dignity to come to the funerals of our soldiers who were killed by his American Masters.
It is not his fault, but it is a lack of character of our own people, who let him sit in this marble palace. He should have been dragged out off the presidential palace.
Mr Chaudhary, I would like to take issue with you to have called Benazir, Mohtrarima.she was none of that, she was corrupt and dishonest.
